The Minot Optimist Club is involved in numerous projects throughout the year. Our Annual Community Halloween Party focuses on providing a safe and friendly place for our youngsters to trick or treat. Our Respect for Law Luncheon honors our law enforcement officers and awards an Officer of the Year award every year. We also participate in various fundraising events to benefit the youth of our community including a Childhood Cancer Campaign auction, various benefits for our local Companions for Children and providing products to our local Domestic Violence Center and Children's Advocacy Center. In the summer of 2010, we held our first ever youth golf tournament for children, providing a great family day and many prizes for the kids who participated!
